I've ranted on this before, but it seems nobody even cares what it is I have to say.
First, I want to go on record by saying that the video game console wars really must stop. It's completely stupid fighting over a hunk of hardware that doesn't have a mind of its own and honestly doesn't care who likes it and who doesn't. Some people treat these consoles like a girlfriend, and instantly spring into action the mere second someone says something bad about their favorite console. A prime example of this is the PS3/X-Box 360 and the PS4/X-Box One. Now this has been going on for quite a while, ever since Nintendo first entered the game market. Now granted, Nintendo is more for casual gamers, but that's not really a bad thing. I personally do not have an opinion on which console is better in those categories because I like both the PS3 and X-Box 360 equally. I don't yet have any experience with the PS4 and X-Box One, so I don't have an opinion on those either. To the masses, at least from what I've gathered, both consoles suck, but that's just bad press having some fun.
This console war fact also seems to be a big factor in consoles that are not so well known in America. Consoles like the Commodore 64 computer, Amiga, TurboGrafix-16, Vectrex etc, but the result is no different.
I'm losing my faith in the gaming community because no matter what people say, there's always going to be one person who is so in love with his game console, regardless of what it is, and even if it sucks, they're going to defend it to death. Hell, even Nintendo's ill-fated Virtual Boy had some followers that will do that to this day.
My point in all this is why would you bother getting defensive over a video game console? If you like it, that's perfectly fine. If someone thinks it's overrated, then that should be their personal opinion and you shouldn't get mad. Yes, sometimes people will take offence to something like that and declare war on the person who said it. I've been on the receiving end, and I'm not happy about that, but I am happy that I've been able to stand up for my own sake and politely explain my position. Something that a lot of people don't appreciate and accuse me of being rude. Half the time, it's THEM who's being rude to me, and they shove it down my throat.
I really don't like ranting on things I don't agree with, but this just has to stop. If you like the video game consoles that I am saying sucks, that's fine. And there are sometimes when I don't get my facts straight beforehand. It doesn't mean you have to be so defensive and attack me just for one stinking comment.
Now, I'm really getting tired of this. I may repeat information a lot, and shove my opinion down someone's throat, and for that, I can understand why someone would get upset. I could very easily say the same thing about other media. The newspaper, TV, movies (Star Wars especially), and even the internet.
But still. The console wars really need to stop, and fan boys really should stop attacking people for stupid reasons like that.

The King's Knights (RP Prompt)
This is is a Role-Play Prompt. DO NOT FAVE UNLESS YOU ARE INTERESTED IN PARTICIPATING!!! In a land full of magical creatures, humans are often enthralled by the idea of getting close. Many of them are dangerous, but those who successfully tame them are often seen as powerful (sometimes scary), and could potentially do just about anything. One day you, an ordinary human doing an ordinary job come across a wild or injured magical creature. You bring it in to the nearest building and help to patch it up. It is grateful and does something unexpected: It forms a magical bond with you allowing you to share its power. In doing so it also allows you to communicate with it freely as if it were able to speak the same language. You are then called to the king's castle where it is explained that you have forged a magical bond with a creature and are required to register your status (as the king likes to know who is bonded and who isn't across his realm. Unregistered people have been known
Palworld vore RP
THIS IS AN RROMPT! PLEASE READ ALL THE WAY TO THE END AND DO NOT FAVE UNLESS YOU ARE INTERESTED IN PARTICIPATING!! RULES: This is themed around the video game that took the world by storm called Palworld, and as such all content MUST be related or at the very least connected to that world. Leave your ego at the door. Your opinion isn't the only one that matters and I won't tolerate it being treated as such. This is a TEAM project so we both have a say. ABSOLUTELY NO EXTREME NSFW content. No depictions of genitalia or bizarre fetishes (even if a lot of the Pals are nothing but fetish bait) Be a team player. I play to tell a cohesive story with build up, suspense, backstory, and overall interactions. I want there to be a reason for everything that happens and done in a way that feels natural and not forced. So for that reason please provide me with at least two to three sentences per reply. (Exception: If your character is asking a question then that is useful information in
Why is apologizing for something so hard?
I had someone on a Discord server I'm in block me for literally no reason. Now this isn't the first time I've been blocked without any reason given, but it's quite annoying when there's a very easy solution to a problem that goes completely ignored. It also wasn't the first time we butted heads either, but all the same. What happened this time was that he made a comment that I politely pointed out was rude and inappropriate and his reaction was not to apologize for being offensive, but instead to try to force me to believe that he was in the right and that it was good clean fun. He thought I was giving him attitude (I wasn't). He thought I was acting like a jerk (I wasn't). I was only trying to explain to him that the thing he said could have easily been taken in a negative direction even resulting to us going to private messages. Despite me reinforcing my point that it was potentially offensive and that he should be more careful about what he says before he says it. He
Lost my twin brother
For those of you who don't know me well I come from a family of five. I have three brothers including a twin. Unfortunately my twin was born with Cerebral Palsy and was essentially an adult toddler, but we love him all the same. I lost him on Sunday January 7, 2024 at the age of 34.
