Tapper the Pony

Tapper comes from a family of dancers who encouraged him to follow in their footsteps.  He didn't have to, but he chose to because he loved to dance anyway.  He took many years in the art of dance through his high school years, and has even performed with some big-name bands and celebrities, including Sapphire Shores on a few occasions.

He got his start doing small-time shows at various events ranging from birthday parties, to grand opening parties, and even full-fledged carnival gigs.  He's not the only dancing pony, he's just the leader of a small group who get together for all kinds of things.

While he prefers to dance alone, he has had many partners over the years, and he's also had smaller performances on larger shows.  He's opened for Glitter's puppet shows on a few occasions, and he's also danced alongside Sonata and his band.   His favorite gigs are when he's alongside people he's known for a long time, rather than a complete stranger.  He doesn't like to screw up in front of someone he doesn't know as he does have a minor inferiority complex, so he feels more comfortable around people he knows rather than total strangers.

On his downtime, Tapper can be seen teaching some younger students about his technique as well as some tips for those interested in joining.

Tapper's life hasn't all been dancing and smiles though.  His younger brother passed away due to a heart attack and though Tapper tried to save him, there was nothing he could do because he lacked medical knowledge.  His father was a very tough-love kind of person, and he was very strict with the rules such has letting Tapper only watch so much TV, practice his tap-dancing at certain times of day only, and other stuff like that.  He had a kind heart deep down, don't get me wrong, but Tapper had trouble with the limitations upon him.

In addition to knowing Glitter while she performed with her puppets, Tapper was also a good friend of Darkhoove.  He didn't live in the same neighborhood, but Darkhoove was just a short walk away from where Tapper lived.

Other skills Tapper has is singing.  He often has the chance to get up and sing alongside other acts, and he's got a really beautiful singing voice that even rivals Rarity.
